Mill Road Winter Fair – Saturday 7th December – 12:45
We are once again planning a group performance for the Mill Road Winter Fair, followed by a session afterwards. Please save the date!

We’ll be performing outside the Co-op near Catharine Street from 12:45-13:30, joined by The Cafferkey Dancers.

Time: please meet at 12:30

Address: 177 Mill Road, Cambridge, CB1 3AN (please note that there are multiple Co-ops on Mill Road, so check you have the correct one…!)

Please bring:

  • instrument(s)
  • warm clothing
  • a folding chair, if you need one.

End of Term Tutor-Led Christmas Session and Party – Wednesday 11th December – 7:00pm – The Rathmore Club.
All are invited and Christmas jumpers and hats are optional but fun! Please if possible bring prizes for the raffle and food items for the buffet. The raffle slowly builds up our bank account and keeps it stable each year.

Lessons will then resume on Wednesday 15th January 2025.

January 2025 – Rathmore Club Annual Memberships Due.

We’re fortunate to host our lessons at the Rathmore Club, and we encourage all our members to support the club by joining as well.

Yearly membership is just £5 per adult or £10 for a family. To join, simply speak to a member of the bar staff at the club. Thank you for your support!

Friday 7th – Sunday 9th February – Cambridge TradFest 2025 – An Irish ceili and session weekend in the pubs and cafes along Mill Road.

Wednesday 19th February – NO LESSONS – Half-term.

Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd March – Comhaltas in Britain annual Convention – London & Southern Region – Details TBC.

Wednesday 19th March – St Patricks Session and Party – 7:00pm The Rathmore Club.

Sunday 6th April – Midland Region Fleadh – Newman University, Birmingham. (Entries will need to be in 6 weeks before the fleadh)

Wednesday 9th & 16th April – NO LESSONS – Easter Holidays.
