SAVE THE DATE – Saturday 2nd AugustFolk in the City
As you may have heard, Cambridge Folk Festival is organising a free event at Cherry Hinton Hall over the first weekend in August. As part of this they want to highlight the regular folk music events that happen around the city so they have asked us to host a session at the Rathmore from 8:30pm on the Saturday evening.
Look out for the other events being held over that weekend – some of our members will be playing in the festival ceilidh band earlier that Saturday evening at the festival.

Saturday 3rd – Sunday 10th August – All-Ireland Fleadh – Wexford Town, Ireland

SAVE THE DATE – Sunday 24th August afternoon – TBC – Out of the Ordinary Festival on Christ’s Pieces!
This is another event organised by the Cambridge Folk Festival team and we have been asked to perform a 45 minute slot on the Sunday afternoon. Again please let Sylvie know if you like to be part of this group.
We are very grateful that we have been asked to collaborate with the festival as they have been very supportive of our branch over the years and it’s a shame the normal folk festival isn’t taking place this year so it is great to be involved with these events.
